All technology is magic, if you don't know how it's done. And this first-cousin-to-a-Luddite doesn't.
Little places like that serve the best food, and don't judge them by the Styrofoam if you can help it. The health departments require you either use disposables, harsh chemicals to handwash, or huge and expensive commercial dishwashers. Small places sometimes can't afford the commercial jobs and don't want to use the chemicals, so they use disposables.
One of the best BBQ joints around here serves food just this way--no fancy plates but styrofoam and plastic utensils. My only problem is the plastic and wanting to have stuff be recyclable. But it sure does look good. Off the beaten path BBQ joints--love them.
Lesson learned... Never ask Siri for restaurants or eating places. I hate it when they serve food in styro foam!
ReplyDeleteHot damn that looks good.
ReplyDeleteApple should commission you. I'm nearly sold.
ReplyDeleteOh, good lord, that looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteThat food looks amazing and I want Siri........so badly. Just to ask her/him questions all day long. Wow, someone to talk to me all the time. bliss!
ReplyDeleteI'm with photocat. too bad they use styrafoam. but if you want good food, you have to get off the interstate and delve into the small towns.
