Freddy and his lovely Finnish girlfriend have collaborated on a new short film. Check it out if you want. I'm in it. So is my bathroom! And porch! (See if YOU can find Bill Murray!)
You are brilliant in this film, Mommala, just brilliant.
Those two did a good job co-directing this film. I particularly like the medicine cabinet scene and the one where you and your mom look at each other on the porch. Very nice.
You are ever more skilled in each one of these, M2. Really like the transition with the opening and closing of the bathroom cabinet and the porch scene. Another good one from FCR, Vivandy.
Love that this post comes right after your Fabulous Quality Day with the family -- reminding us from two angles that this is the way to go. x0 N2
I completely agree with N2 above. The you as younger, you, and then your daughter are all so believable as being related. Oh, and loved how the person playing your daughter was such a modern daughter with her hands and face only into her electronic device. Reminded me of the Cats in the Cradle song "My son turned ten just the other day He said, "Thanks for the ball, Dad, come on let's play Can you teach me to throw", I said "Not today I got a lot to do", he said, "That's ok" And he walked away but his smile never dimmed And said, "I'm gonna be like him, yeah You know I'm gonna be like him" --Michele R.
This was so fun. I loved seeing you and your gorgeous porch with all those happy plants. I love the space between your teeth, never noticed it much before. You remind me of Susan Serandon so much for some reason.
Bethany- I have crooked front teeth. This is the way it is. I kind of reminded me of Susan Serandon too, only without the gorgeous boobs and the beautiful face.
Stephanie- Whenever Freddy wants me...
May- Oh honey. Not the same. But I would LOVE to spend some time with you. We need to plan a mini-road trip to somewhere funky and fun. Yes? I love you so.
May- That would be fun! Anything I do with you is fun.
Danielle- Hello, dear boy! We have missed you so! What you said about my acting? That is the best compliment I could receive. And I love those earrings. I got them for Christmas. Thank-you. I hope all is well for you. Love...Mary
You are a star!

Wow! That was wonderful--such a powerful message. You rock!
ReplyDeleteHit the nerve...made me wish my mom had had time for "ME".....a reversal of roles.
ReplyDeleteLove you and your Lily acting together!
I love watching these short films! I really do. It's incredibly fun to see you "moving" as my daughter would say. Great job!
ReplyDeleteAngella- In my own house!
ReplyDeleteMel's Way- A message I'm pretty aware of.
Honeyluna- That medicine cabinet thing was nice, wasn't it?
Syd- You know, we shot my parts in about twenty minutes. Seriously. So I'm not too disappointed in myself. Thanks.
N2- It's all done so quickly I don't have time to overthink. Or even...think. Just do. Maybe that's what works best for me.
Michele R- That's exactly the song Freddy and Vanessa had in mind!
Ms. Bastard-Beloved- Oh well. Love you, dear.
Ms. Fleur- Well, the Me-Mom in the movie deserved it.
Lois- You're so sweet.
Ellen- No, that wasn't my Lily. It was an actor. But she was good, wasn't she?
Lora- 2-D, at least, huh? Thanks, sugar.
