Very Good News

Our darling Dr. Antonio Bandaras told us today that Kathleen's scan showed that the nodes are smaller and the pleural fluid is almost gone. This is progress. This shows that the chemo and treatment he is giving her are doing their jobs.

We are so happy and would be celebrating with martinis and pizza tonight but we have rehearsal....
Maybe tomorrow.
We shall see.

Her platelets are still very low though and so they gave her some today and she is not getting chemo for two weeks. That's okay. The doctor isn't worried about that. And now her body can rest and heal some.

In this case, I would like to say that thing which I hate when people say, which is: It's all good.

  1. This is good news. I'm so glad.

  2. Oh thank goodness! Kisses for Kathleen and for you.

  3. I am so glad.

It IS all good. (I hate that expression, too, and "good times" and when you write something and then cross it out but don't delete it and write something else) -- I'm picky that way.

  4. So good to hear. It's all good has its appropriate place and time and when used in that way, it fits so very well : )

  5. Good. I was thinking of you all.

  6. That's such awesome news. Attitude is such a powerful thing.

  7. Great news about Kathleen. It does sound to be so encouraging.

  8. That is great news! So happy to hear.

Tell me, sweeties. Tell me what you think.
