What A Week It Has Been

One week ago right now, this had not yet happened.

And here she is this morning, waving hello.

Oh, Magnolia June! We are so glad you are here!

It is a gray and chilly day and Mr. Moon is still here, taking measurements on the roof for materials and I am going to take care of Gibson for awhile this afternoon while his parents take Owen to the doctor to see how that fracture is healing. His cast is driving him insane.

My husband and I may take off tomorrow afternoon for two nights in Apalachicola. Mama needs a get-away and Papa needs one too. It's supposed to rain and be cold and I don't even care. Give us a bed and some covers and let the world take care of itself for a little while.
Sometimes I am astounded at the fact that it is our love for each other, his and mine, that has led to all of this life and more love and by golly, I feel like we should celebrate that.

And on we go.

Love...Ms. Moon

  3. Aw, I feel bad for Owen - I hope he gets some relief with his cast.

That baby is unfolding like a rose bud to a rose - what a difference in just one week!
