Yes! Back To Real Life!

Quick, quick! Because I'm almost out of battery charge but this has been a very, very good day and we did it all and those boys were so sweet and so good and we played on the play set and walked to the Post Office and went fishing and everyone caught fish including me and then I cast all the way across the pond and Boppy had to get in the kayak and go get the bobber out of the tree it caught in because he refused to leave it there because that was tacky and THIS IS WHY YOU DON'T TAKE ME FISHING but we are going to have bream and the very last of the tomatoes for supper and I've picked a huge bag of peas and my feet are all stung up with ant bites and Gibson got bites and he said, "They are eating me apart!" and they loved the thrift store toys we bought them in Sebastian and Owen's dragon had no wings so he made some himself and he could not have been happier.

And there were pancakes and bacon and I got all of my little tiny Roseland jungle plants in water or dirt and did countless loads of laundry and hopefully tonight Maurice will let Mr. Moon sleep because last night she was on top of him all night long AND I figured out today how to peel hardboiled eggs, no problem, easy and fast.

We saw a commercial on the TV in Roseland for a "as seen on TV" device for easy peeling and all it was was a basic plastic container you put the cooked eggs and water in and shake it up and then drain the water and the peels come off slick and quick and so I tried it in a mason jar (put the water up over the top of the eggs but not all the way to the top) and put the lid on and shake 'em like a Polaroid picture for about thirty seconds, drain the water and there you go. Forget all the salt and vinegar and blah, blah. Just do that. It works.

Yes. I have just changed your life.

Your friend in haste.

Ms. Moon

  1. Those pictures. To be cherished, like the men and the moments they show. Those boys look so happy. So does their Boppy!

  5. Our eggs come from our son's chickens, and I have a hell of a time peeling them! If I'm making deviled eggs it takes me forever....because the eggs aren't supposed to look like they butchered AND deviled. I will definitely try your trick! And those boys! Love Love LOVE!

  10. That's funny! Tomorrow's birthday party is going to involve quite a lot of hard-boiled eggs, and I was not looking forward to the peeling. Thanks for the tip!
