Who Knows?

It's starting to rain and I've got soup simmering on the stove and the man is coming home tonight. I'm not sure why they decided to come home a day early. Weather, perhaps.

I keep thinking I'm making this being-sick thing up in my head. I mean, I can do things. I took the trash and did some laundry and made the soup. But I tell you what- every time I lay down it feels so good.

So what's going on with Tropical Storm Erika?
Here's the computer models.

Don't you love that?

I'm going to go lay down again.

Love...Ms. Moon

  1. Towards fall we tend to keep an eye on southern storms because they can veer north to us on the coast, so I'm aware of Erika heading your way. Stay safe. And I hope you feel better soon.

  2. She sure dropped a lot of rain on my little house in Virgin Gorda. We needed it. Be careful and stay safe. Feeling sad today about Alice, about my mom and about my son who is ill in Philadelphia. Thank the animal gods that I can always come here for comfort.

  3. I hope Erica takes a turn out into the Gulf! As for me, my doc put me on a new medicine almost two weeks ago. For the past week I've been having terrible leg cramps. The cramps in my calf, shin and toes all at once kind of terrible. I'm extremely sleep-deprived, too. I Googled that shit today and guess what? It depletes potassium and causes severe leg cramps! Got a call into the doc, but no chance of hearing from him now....so I think I'll take the Valium my dentist gave me for my upcoming dental procedure tonight. Maybe I'll just sleep through the cramps!

  4. We are headed to Alabama tomorrow for a funeral and my son is headed to the keys tonight. I really hope this thing weakens. Sad about Alice too, that is how I found you. I do hope Andrea will continue to blog. Gail

  5. I hope you're not coming down with what the boys had but kids' bugs are vicious and you are so close. I'm thinking of you and hoping you feel better soon.

  6. Oh, Lord. I do NOT miss those crazy hurricane predictions. Last I read the storm was weakening -- I hope that's still the case.

  7. jenny_o- Looks we ducked another one. I am so grateful.

Invisigal- I am so glad you come here too! And I hope your son recovers quickly!

Catrina- Bendadryl is, for me, an excellent sleep aid. That really sucks about the medication. That can't be good.

Gail- Be safe on your journeys. I don't think Erika is going to do much to Florida except to bring more rain.

Joanne- I do feel better today. Thank you so much, sweet lady.

Steve Reed- Indeed it was the case! Hurray!
