Look what Mr. (Honey) Moon has done today! Okay, it's not hooked up to plumbing or wired yet but there it is. Sitting securely in its own little nest, just waiting to be my faithful home appliance.
It has THREE drawers, y'all. One at the top for silverware and knives. You have no idea how excited this makes me.
Or maybe you do.
Anyway, it's been a good day and I weeded and de-pooped the chicken house and there was a nap and now I'm going to make Granny Matthew's wonderful eggplant casserole with a nice fat eggplant I grew and look!
I will have an option for "Extra Shine."
Wouldn't it be lovely if life had a button like that? And some days, we would all surely appreciate the delicate option. I know I would.
Well, we get what we get and today has surely had its shine and its delicacy as well and okay, we're not sanitized but whatever. I did shave my legs. That's just as good, right?
I think so.
Love...Ms. Moon
I am so jealous of that new appliance! I've got a galley for a kitchen and there is nowhere to put one of those miraculous machines. Glad the hubby got to use new toys..I mean, tools. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, knowing the way our minds work, if we could all have extra shine each day it wouldn't be long before somebody found a way to make a lot of money by offering us extra, EXTRA shine and we would all have to have that thingie.
ReplyDeleteSarah- Heh-heh!
ReplyDeleteMs. Peace, Thyme- Ain't that the truth?
Considering that our dishwasher is not only still non-functioning but also WAY too small, I am completely jealous! :)
ReplyDeleteI never use mine! I mean, I do once in awhile, if we have company but that is so rare! The amount you cook? You need a chef's kitchen!
ReplyDeleteHow does Mr. Moon even use the kitchen counters" He towers over them! It must hurt his back.
ReplyDeleteSteve Reed- Perhaps Mr. Moon and I should come and visit you? He could fix your appliances. I could cook you supper. (Just kidding.)
ReplyDeleteHeartinhand- Yep. It's not how many you cook for, it's how you cook. Trust me. I'll use it daily.
Birdie- Life hurts Mr. Moon's back. He is too tall for almost everything. But he manages. And he holds himself up high. That was the first thing I ever noticed about him.
