Maybe in different forms but still.
Love and safety and play and vegetables and protein and shelter and
glory be if you can throw in a big box of crayons, most of which still have their points.
Why is it so damn hard?
I don't have the slightest idea.
I adore this, especially that first pic of your grandboys on their spanking new raceway! And Gibson pouring tea.
ReplyDeleteCrayons with points :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic tea set, Mer!
A sidewalk! Yay!
ReplyDeleteAnd Gibson having a tea party. That picture made me happy today. Sweet, sweet child.
Aw, I agree with you, Ms Moon, I really do! My boys used the same tea set, but with a coffee pot instead...same colors, same little tea parties, I still have it. Lovely memories there, thanks for reminding me.
ReplyDeleteWhy not is right.
ReplyDeleteYes.
ReplyDeletePulled a lot of teeth here getting that sidewalk built, glad it looks just like a plain old sidewalk. Hope Lloyd still looks like Lloyd.
ReplyDeleteThat does look pretty complete, alright. The box of Crayola really makes my heart sing - I was super-lucky enough to be a sent a box each year or so by my kind aunt in California, and ohhh, the smell...
ReplyDeleteYes, I would like to return to such simplicity. And I can as long as I don't watch the news or leave the island.
ReplyDeleteIt does seem so simple, doesn't it? I think many of us, along the way, delude ourselves into thinking we want more and more. We lose sight of what we really need.
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, yes. And Yes.
ReplyDeleteMagnum- You had something to do with our sidewalk?
ReplyDeleteI love it! Lloyd does indeed still look like Lloyd but as I said to Mr. Moon last night, "Now it looks like a PLACE."
