It Was A Blustery Day In The Big City

A friend texted me this morning and I texted back that I was out walking the Mean Streets of Lloyd. Here's some of what I saw.

Can you see the hawk? She (he?) is blurry but there it is.

A really mean street. You never know when a rabid raccoon is going to run out of the woods and attack me. I stay on my guard at all times!

Not a street but definitely a mean, mean place. The railroad track which carries the angry trains!

And Main Street which of course is the meanest street of all.

But I've made it back safely and here's Miss Elvira, sweetly sitting on the nest, laying me an egg.

I survived again!

Love...Ms. Moon

  2. A rural idyll.

Meanwhile in my town, one of my students got mugged at knifepoint, at 7pm, by a man the police think has been out of jail for just three days. Ugh.

  3. You get outside every day. This impresses me. I have not been outside for two days. Different universes. Snow on the ground in mine. Sunlight painting the day in yours.

  4. If you didn't survive, the world would fall apart. Maybe you should stay with Elvira from now on.

  5. I rather wish I could go for a walk with you along the mean streets and the woods and have a chat as we go x

  6. We're glad you survived. We're all pulling for you. :)

(It looks like you had amazing weather, at least!)
