Slower Than Usual

Oh my god. I feel like someone hit me with a board all night long. I'm still sore from weeding and am feeling slow, slow, slow this morning.
I hear that Owen has the cold now and that Gibson had a rough night and so it goes. We humans all get sick at one time or another.

Seriously. I cannot get it together this morning. I've talked to Hank twice (I think that having windows has definitely improved his outlook on life and he sounds bizarrely cheerful and productive) and Jessie once and Lily once. Hank and I are going to lunch, I'm taking Jessie to Costco and I'll see Lily at the Publix.
By the way, Eight O'Clock coffee is BOGO this week.
Stock up, friends.

And that's about as much as I've got to say.
Oh. Here's what I found in the hen house already this morning.

The girls are getting it done! Glad someone is.

Maurice is lying on the table in the sun.

Yes, Maurice. That perspective does make your ass look big. Huge, in fact.
She's got her winter coat and she's rocking it.

That's it.

Happy Friday.

Love...Ms. Moon

  1. Happy Friday to you. I remember when all people talked about on Fridays was getting laid, paid, and drunk. I'm glad I don't work in that factory anymore....hmmm, or maybe I'm not.

P.S. I love that picture of you from yesterday's post. Frame a bunch of those up and give them as Christmas presents!

  2. I, too, love the picture from yesterday in front of that amazing chippy red door!
So sorry to hear the little guy was sick. Poor little poopsie! I hope he's feeling better.
My cat has barfed so much lately, I can hardly stand it.
I wish I lived somewhere warm do I could wear flip flops year round.

  3. Eight o'Clock was $4.48 at Ingles today and I thought of you when I picked it up, as I usually do.

  4. Maurice looks cute. My wife said the cats are all over her because they are chilly

  5. Denise- Paid, laid and drunk does not sound so awful. None of those are really horrible things, are they?
    I love you.

Heartinhand- Sometimes I have to wear socks with my croc-sandles. It is a burden.

Ms. Vesuvius- I have an Ingles discount tag on my key ring. Ingles rocks.

Syd- Cats are so damn self-serving. I swear. But I love Maurice, even still.

Tell me, sweeties. Tell me what you think.
