Here's Your Sunday School Lesson

When the Bradford Pears drop their leaves, I am always on the lookout for the few whose patterning resembles so closely that labial portal which always surrounds the Virgin of Guadalupe.

I attribute no meaning to this. Merely delight.

  1. Those leaves are gorgeous! I have never seen leaves like that, most probably because I live in the frigid Chicago area, where Bradford pear trees don't grow.
Thank you for the delight on this Sunday morning, Ms. Moon!

  2. What a wonderful thing to take note of...I love that Her aura, her glow, has that shape...

  3. LOL -- I love those Bradford pear leaves in the fall, but I admit I never looked at them quite THAT way before. :)

  4. HA! the labial portal. the catholic hierarchy would be mortified if they heard that!

  5. Saturday's garden- You are welcome!

    Elizabeth- I think so too.

Big Mamabird- She is the female essence for sure.

Steve Reed- We all see through our own lenses, don't we?

Ellen Abbott- Yeah. Don't tell the Pope.

  6. You had me at the labial portal.

Tell me, sweeties. Tell me what you think.
