Darned Ms. Moon, I think our lives are almost intersecting. I think my Krishna relatives go to that parade each year, I think they were there this year. In the 6 degrees of separation scheme of things, I think you and I are possibly only 3 or 4 degrees separated - me, my Krishna relatives, Hank then you, that's 4 degrees. Lucy I'm going to try to go to a writers' workshop in Montana in June, I'll send you a link to it, maybe you'd be interested, but you have to decide by Tuesday. Lucy
But if you had gone, we would not have had that wonderful post from yesterday that I just read.
Your home is wonderful, filled with imagination, love and soul! How I would love to walk through those rooms in real life and visit with you and yours....sigh
Lois- Modern technology. WHY do we always believe in it?
Daddy B- This is stacking up to be one of the worst mistakes of my entire life. Damn. I missed Pawpaw and you KNOW how much I love him. Please don't tell me you were there too.
Hank with a megaphone - mind-boggling to be sure! Ha ha ha! It was both awesome and rather fearsome.....I love this picture, except for the fact that you're not in it!
What's the Jewish toast? Next year in Jerusalem? Well, for us it'll be "Next year at The Fives!" You can introduce me to Pawpaw and we can take turns flirting with him - he looked like a sweetie pie.
Kati- I love you. I can't wait until we raise a glass and toast to The Fives. And Pawpaw? Don't get me started. And have you met Billy yet? His grandson? Blood will TELL.
And I used it to great advantage.

It rained a lot here. Then, it cleared to be a beautiful day. Sorry you missed the party!
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks like fun.

DTG- God. I SO wish I'd been there to see the magic of the megaphone.
ReplyDeleteI would have peed my pants. No doubt.
Lucy- As I said in my e-mail- we LOVE the Krishnas! They're awesome!
Syd- I only go to about half a dozen parties a year. Not like I really need to miss THE BEST ONE!
Oh well.
Liv- Well, there's a lot of dirt and spider webs, too. Believe me. I should do a reality post with pictures of those.
Leon County believed the radar too and pulled out all of the high school bands. Better to be safe than sorry though when kids are involved!
ReplyDeleteAlso, your boyfriend pawpaw was there.

ReplyDeleteKati- Hank is a force who is not to be reckoned with. (I don't actually know what that means but I love the way it sounds.) Next year...
