Different

I am giving you two links today, both demonstrating different types of primate behavior.
I am not going to draw any conclusions, I am not saying a thing. I am just saying that if you want to, go to the links, read them, find the videos, play them. They're not very long. And if you only go to one, please go to the second one. It is far more inspiring and heart-warming and just overall, a better example of how primates CAN behave.

Whoops! I think I may have inadvertently made a judgment. Maybe even a conclusion. Well, you know me.

And if you don't have the time or desire to check out any links at all- have a wonderful Saturday! I am. It's hot, muggy, I'm wearing overalls and am about to clean bathrooms. For some reason I have the slightest inclination for housecleaning today and god knows I need to grab on to any inclination like that which may arise.

Love....Ms. Moon

  1. So, are you saying that the love between man and gorilla is more pure and beautiful than the love shared by a hypocrite and his rentboy?

    :)

  2. i heard about that and saw the pic. my honest reaction is to think what the hell happened to this man, that he hates who he is with such a passion that it has literally consumed his life?

  3. Maggie May- Religion, probably. But what really pisses me off is that he is paid (or used to be, anyway) to testify for anti-gay causes. Florida paid him 120,000 dollars in '08 to testify in a trial where they were trying to take two boys away from their gay fathers.
    This is not right.

  6. I watched the natural one -- and I think I read in a recent New Yorker a little bit about the Aspinall Foundation. I know you read the New Yorker -- do you happen to remember the article about the poachers in Africa and the couple who work to stop the poaching?

The other video I couldn't face after my duking it out with the stalker today. Do you know that he is STILL on my blog reading every single post (and there are more than 700?).

  7. Syd- Wasn't that something?

Rachel- Me too, baby. Me too.

Elizabeth- If you ignore him, will he go away? Dang. What a weirdo.
I'm so sorry you're having to go through the psychic crap of dealing with this.

  10. I had NO inclination for housekeeping on Saturday, so I blew it off and went hiking in the woods instead. Then I had a beer and some good food outside on a restaurant patio in my favorite Ohio town and spotted Dave Chappelle and his mother walking around the shops.

    What a day!
