Clouds On The Ground

I am so tired this morning. I couldn't sleep last night and I couldn't stay asleep this morning. And my mind feels like the mist that has settled in Lloyd today, my thoughts are foggy and obscured.

The oak-leaf hydrangea are blooming. Do you see this?

And that's all I have in me right now. Just that- the mist and the oak leaf hydrangea.

I am going back to bed.

  1. Sometimes going back to bed is the only thing you can do. I hope it was warm (not too warm) and soft and comforting.

  8. I had to check in with ya today because I've been long gone and I'm feeling down -- how I wish we could moan about the infernal heat over a backyard fence.
It's over 100ยบ here in Merida so I might have to come back to Florida to cool off. You didn't cut your hair, did you? I'm finally letting mine grow out but it's never going to get as long as yours. Did you know hair length is "built in"?

Lois- It was a beautiful fog, wasn't it?

    Syd- You're lucky too.

Bethany- I think I slept too hard for dreams.

Screamish- Sometimes some mistiness is good.

    Deb- Thank-you.

notjustafemme- I will agree that the oak leaf hydrangea is amazing.

Lopo- I have heard that about the hair. No, I have not cut it. Yet.
It'll be that hot here soon. No relief in Florida, I am thinking. It is so good to hear from you!

Ellen- And let it be so!

Michelle- For just a little while. Then the boy came back and then the Opera House...
But today is for rest. Until the Opera House tonight.
