During what I think of as the "When will their father be here?" hour.
Then I shook up a few dirty martinis (the boys love olives) and the three of us sat around, sipped, ate a little pate and discussed politics until Jason showed up.
It was a good afternoon.
hahaaa... love it... cutie pies!
ReplyDeleteoh, sigh .. third time trying to enter the right word verification thingy ... hiss
Such stunning musical talent!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good afternoon. Just got back from spending a few days on the boat. Cold! But being off the grid was good.
ReplyDeleteOh those boys! So precious. And loud. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, I loved this! I remember those days. I miss having little kids.
ReplyDeleteOkay, that was funny. You had me there for a moment until you said all of you sipped on the dirty martinis -- I thought you were going to say you sipped while the boys had olives. Oh the sound of that piano... as cute as they are, I can just imagine... Sweet Jo
ReplyDeleteI would love to hear Gibson's insights on the immigration plan :) :)
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! This cracked me up. Oh yeah.

ReplyDeleteCarolyn- The Verification Words absolutely make me believe in evil.
ReplyDeleteMr. Downtown- It's so obviously true.
Syd- Can't believe you were on the boat during this cold snap. You're a real man.
Lora- And they so love to have their loudness accompanied by the Rolling Stones. Played loudly. Why?
Jo(e)- Honey, I bet you could find some young mama who'd love to let you in on the fun for a few hours.
Sweet Jo- They DO love olives. That's the truth. And Owen WAS drinking ice water out of the martini shaker. It's one of his favorite things to do.
SJ- He's a real liberal, that one. Live and let live, you know? As long as there's someone around to give him snacks and change his diapers, he's a very accepting dude.
Beth Coyote- Thirty seconds is just about enough too, right? Luckily, it's not all this whack.
Elizabeth- They live for it.
Sittingonaporch- That was about the time you called. Haha!
Ha! we have the same hour at our house! sans the politics and martinis. Think I'll add the martinis for sure.
ReplyDeleteThe tiny-piano playing and the Poke! This made me laugh out loud :)
