Moon Light And Morning Sun

The first time I woke up this morning it was five-twenty and when I went out to get the paper and feed the cats the moon was so bright it was shining off the tin roof of the garage and making shadows of the pecan branches and I thought I might swoon with the still, quiet, cold beauty of it.

Owen was happy when he got here and wanted an apple and asked where Bop was and when I told him that Bop was still in bed he said, "No way!" and then he wanted to get in bed with Bop and Mer and he wanted Mr. Peep to be told and his back rubbed and so it was and we all went back to sleep and he's still asleep and I'm up and the day is full on light and it looks like this:



And now Owen is up and I gotta go.
It's going to be a good day.
