Soft Gray

One of the treasures I found yesterday at the Goodwill was a pair of cotton pants so soft that when my fingers found them they would not let them go. They are lined and dove gray and the brand is one I had never heard of.

Nitya.

I looked it up on the internet and if that's not the prettiest, dreamiest web site I ever saw, I don't know what is.
Hell. These pants probably cost, originally, more than that fur jacket.
And I wore them to feed the chickens.
I feel like I had clouds on my legs.
I love the Goodwill. Levi's and Nitya. They have ALL the brands.

My smoothie has pineapple in it.
That's about as exciting as I plan to get today.

I feel guilty giving you nothing more than this.

Oh well.

There is fog drawing in. I wonder if these soft gray cloud pants drew it to me. The fog.

I don't know. But I am going to go walk in it. The fog, that is.

Fog is a funny word. Add an "r" and you have frog.

One is gray, one is green.

But you knew that.

Good morning.
Love...Ms. Moon

  1. Oh dear. I was going to say, add an 'ie' and you have fogie but I wouldn't like you to assume I meant that personally!

Add an 'l' and you have flog, a marshmallow confection of my childhood.

I remember once sitting in the fog watching bunnies hop around quite close to me, and it was green and grey and good.

Your trousers sound beautiful, so glad you found such a find!

  5. So, you are the reason for the fog? I thought it was odd that we had it at this time, now it all makes sense. :-)

The pants sound dreamy. I want cloud pants!

Hey, not for nothin, but the headless woman exhibit... did you happen to notice the bald guy with the spider web tat covering his head?? I thought it more interesting than the exhibit was likely to be! Although the sign art is classic.

  6. I can almost feel the flow of those grey trousers against my legs, Ms Moon. You describe it all so ... how shall I say? so completely.

  7. The fog was here today as well. It was thick in the morning, burned off by noon, and then came rolling back in later in the day.
