P.S.

I am not sure why but Amy Winehouse's death has made me so very sad.
Bless her heart.
Amen.

  1. Me, too. The whole dying at twenty-seven -- being so talented -- so raw -- joining the group of so many talented individuals -- it's just plain sad.

  2. I was really hoping she'd work through it and sing for another sixty years.

  3. Me three. Wait no, me five. Eh, never been good at math but I'm sorry, too.

Think of all you've done since you were twenty-anything. She hadn't even lived yet.

  4. I felt very sad too. Too many losses to think about over the past week. I thought that she was an interesting person.

  8. I'm still in the angry stage of grief right now about Ms. Winehouse.
I've lost a handful of close friends and acquaintances this year, all leading boring healthy lives and too close to my age; I'm barely dealing with that.

It is very sad news that Ms. Winehouse has died.

But not unexpected news. I selfishly see one less "look at me, it don't matter what I do" influence on my daughter.

  9. Me too, Ms. Moon. Such great talent. I was hoping she would find her peace, but not this way.

  10. Yeah, not unexpected, but still sad.

  11. The almost inevitability of it is maddening. Terrible waste, a very very talented young woman.

  12. I have always been out of the loop when i comes to music as I am usually listen to my new age chanting weirdo music. I had never even heard of Amy Winehouse until she died. And I do feel sad. She was just a kid with a very big job. Life is hard for me most days. I can't imagine what it is like to be 27 and have so many demands. Sad.
