It Rained All Night

Owen's coming very soon and it's going to be a different sort of day with him today because Bop is home and also, it is gray and wet outside. Dawn seems to have slept in, put up the Do Not Disturb sign, pulled the covers back over her head.

Thank-you, Tropical Storm Lee. You brought us rain and we never lost power and there were no moments of terror (for us) and you were polite and did not swish your skirts too much in our direction.

Now perhaps the hurricane lilies will bloom. Now perhaps next-spring's azaleas may have a chance.
