I am so glad Hank had a wonderful time and it looks like everyone else did too. Your spreads always blow me away and I agree with SJ, Owen looks more grown up. Those boys, all your family actually are so good-looking. I don't know how you do all you do but I guess the saying, ' practice makes perfect' is true. You can sleep all week if you'd like. Sweet Jo
I am with gradydoctor. I could eat up Gibson (and Owen) with a little homemade whipped butter.
Butter made from whipping cream to long is sooooo good. I remember making that in girl scouts. What we did was put the cream in a little jar with a tight lid and then we passed it around a cirle of girls shaking the crap out of it. Eventually it turned to butter.
You all look so happy!
ReplyDeleteHa! Gibson's face!
ReplyDeleteAdorable -- all of you! I remember that Waylon had avoided you -- right? So good news!
ReplyDeleteUm, when did Owen turn into a different looking child? Yesterday? Jesus! Big boy.
ReplyDeleteThat last picture of Gibson with Hank. I want to eat him up with that whipped butter! Is he winking? OMG, say he is!
ReplyDeleteAnd. You already know. I am in my care preparing to drive there because if my eyes haven't failed me that is a KEY LIME PIE. Is it?

A- We were.
ReplyDeleteMr. Downtown- That child. He's an imp.
As were you.
Elizabeth- If by "avoided" you mean screams and runs every time I look at him. Yes.
SJ- I know. Overnight he changes. They both do. And they grow ever-more beautiful.
Gradydoctor- Yep. Key lime pie. I doubt Gibson was winking. He was working around a cherry tomato, I believe. I want to eat him up all the time.
Sweet Jo- Ah. Thank you, honey. And I wish I'd gotten a picture of May. She looked positively radiant and amazing.
heartinhand- That's a bunch of 'em, huh?
Angella- Me too!
e- It was a pretty darn good evening.
Jill- Also? I had put the sugar in it so it was sweet butter. Shayla said it was her favorite part of the whole meal.
Steve Reed- Actually, I think that was Miss Trixie. She jumped the fence.
Ms. Bastard Beloved- Yep. Long live Hank! I know. I'm hungry again.
