He Can Smile For Me

It was a friend of mine who gave me the massage and it was wonderful and now I feel emptied, as if those hands had unzipped me and scooped out a lot of things I've been holding on to for a lot of days and weeks and months and now I'm cleaner, a little bit, inside.

But I feel quiet and I don't especially want to talk about anything and so I'll just give you this.

That boy.
Oh, my boys.
What would I ever do without them?

  2. So glad that's worked for you.

I sometimes marvel at how very, very different we are. I absolutely do not like massages no matter how hard I tried to. I find them so boring and often they aggravate injuries rather than ever making me feel better. I do recognize that I am a freak of nature and don't know anybody else like this, so I will just reaffirm that I'm happy you're feeling good.

  4. I'm glad you got a massage. I love massages, and I don't get them nearly enough! They are the perfect antidote to so many of life's stresses.

Cute photo, needless to say. :)

  5. Massages are so important for body and soul. I have a friend who does, you know whatever they call it, spiritual massage. She says emotions are held in chest, around the clavicle and down, so there's something to think about getting done, if you are comfortable with that.

  7. MASSAGE? I kept reading "message"... and was thinking that was really strange! But massage is too a little, for you anyway.

I hope it was a good one.
