we had a beach house when I was growing up and for many of my adult years. I guess we sold it about 8 or 9 years ago. it had passed to us kids. I loved being there. it was so relaxed and the salt air was great and the beach. then my parents moved in permanently and it was no longer the beach house but their house. the atmosphere changed completely and it was no longer the fun relaxed place it had always been. now there were all sorts of rules. they couldn't understand why we stopped coming with the same frequency.
