For Hank

Solemn boy. Right after this he walked across the hallway to me. My drunken-sailor baby.

Smiling. For some reason when I say the word, "Kahzoom!" and make a circle over the dog (don't ask) it makes him laugh like a hyena.

Sunlit. Looking for his rooster.

Yes! That is his rooster.

Showing Pop-Pop where his rooster is. He shows us where his rooster is quite frequently.

It was a fine, sunny day, filled with chickens and noodles and walks and dogs and he even kissed me. On purpose. Which is rare.
And all the more precious for it.

  2. Like the new view of your blog... Love it that text and pics are centered now... Looks better then the previous one. Owen is darling, but I don't have to tell you that. Looks like the rooster is a favorite of his.

  8. When babies laugh like that, you can't help but laugh too. It's contagious.

The Elvis is striking. No wonder Owen is so facinated by him.
