I'm A Little Slow

Yesterday, even when I was just standing there ironing, I kept wishing I could lay down. I hurt everywhere.
I did this morning too but you know- some days you just hurt.
So I went to town and had lunch with some cute mamas and babies and did some Trader Joe shopping and I realized that I was coming down with something. Probably just the cold that Jessie and August have because god knows that I spent half of last weekend kissing August and encouraging him to slobber all over me.
I came home, got in the bed and slept for two hours.
I am missing Owen's performance but Boppy got home and is there to represent us.
I hear that Owen's biggest fear is that he'll fall off the back of the bleachers.
I'm pretty sure he'll be all right.

When was the last time I was sick?

I can't even remember.

  1. I had a horrible fear of falling of the back of the bleachers when I was in grade school, too! The fear is real! I hope you start feeling better soon. I've got the sniffles, runny watery eyes, a cough, scratchy throat, and I've also got the 'cure.' NyQuil, baby! Of course that's my cure for damned near everything.

  2. I had that fear too about the bleachers. It is legitimate. Hope you feel better quickly.
