River view. Lots of seagulls.
Jessie and August and I have been hanging out all afternoon while Mr. Moon and his sister and Vergil have been fishing on the deep blue sea.
We ate about five pounds of fried scallops, oysters, and shrimp for lunch. It was delicious. August sat in a high chair for the first time ever.
Mostly he just wanted to chew on the table. He keeps looking at me like, You're still here! Amazing!"
We went shopping. I bough August a toy. He's having a good time.
Soon the fisher people will be back and we'll all go to supper. It will be fun.
It's right pretty here. The golf cart-with-dogs-thing still seems to be popular. We just watched a shrimp boat coming in with approximately four thousand seagulls and six pelicans following it.
They were clamoring. And not for attention.
That's the news.
Love...Ms. Moon
Aw, Gus is starting to look like a real little boy now, especially in that high chair. Glad you had a good day.
ReplyDeleteAugust's toy looks ... like a Device of some sort. When C was small I made her a rattle out of a Fanta bottle that bulged top and bottom, I filled it with red lentils. Her dad referred to 'your hippy Ma and her lentil-rattle'.
ReplyDeleteI think I was more excited about it than she was :)
Have a lovely time!
Oh that picture of August in his high chair. He is about to rule the world!!!
