Argh and big bloody hole in my gum and enough stitches I thought maybe he was constructing a tiny dress in there, fit for a Borrower bride but it's all okay. There were no problems and I've slept all afternoon.
Which is to say I'm alive. Wheeling like a drunken fool, an inebriated tool when I try to walk.
I'd say it's taken me forty five minutes to write this. I think I'll quit now. I'm so glad I washed my hair for this.
I have to laugh about "washed my hair for this" because It reminds me of when I went into labor with my first child and I had to wash my (long) hair before I went to the hospital!
Oh, the borrowers! Those books were my first favorites. Glad you are ok and thanks for the laugh. Dental work always takes longer than seems necessary. Ease back into your routine....
Thought of you many times today and so glad it is over! Hope Mr Moon will warm up some wonderful soup, which always heals the body and soul. Wishing you a speedy recovery Love to you!
Washing our hair for things like this is vital. I am so glad you made it through with your sense of humor intact. I hope you don't try to brave it thru the pain when you come out of this haze. I am so curious to know which spa treatments you had?! Sweet Jo
LOL -- I have never blogged while under the influence of post-surgical medication. You may be on to something. (In one of her songs Joan Baez sings, "I've never written while I was drunk -- this could be terrific!")
Glad you came through OK. Love the image of the tiny dress. :)
I'm so glad it went well. I was worried about you, you know.

I'm so glad for modern dentistry. Otherwise I would look really funny.

Glad that you are okay. Being stoned for this stuff is the best part. Take care. Rest and let yourself be taken care of.

ReplyDeleteI'm just intrigued that you bolded your post. And of course relieved and happy it's done and you're all right.

Ah good. Over and done. Remember to keep your tongue out of there, curious as it may be!
ReplyDeleteStay drunk. Then wake up and blog. Sending love. Xxoxoxox.
ReplyDeleteBut seriously, oral surgery takes a good couple of days to feel right again so take it slow and sleep a lot. Glad this is behind you.
