I'm Sorry

But excuse me?! I mean, EXCUSE ME!?
Why has no one informed me that John Corbett is on another TV series? Huh? I mean, I like Toni Collette just fine but John Corbett? He is, well, darling.
And I have missed him so.
Why did no one tell me? I feel so abandoned by him. So out-of-the-loop. He didn't call. He didn't e-mail me. He did nothing. He just went to work and got himself on a series and I DIDN'T KNOW A THING ABOUT IT!
Yeah. My feelers are hurt.

  1. I love him, too. And I watched the whole first season of The United States of Tara, but I've since cut off Showtime so will have to wait until it comes out on DVD.

  2. I like him, too. Wasn't he great on Northern Exposure? And he was the perfect boyfriend on Sex and the City. I haven't seen this show because I don't subscribe to Showtime but will see it on DVD, too. Crazy about John Corbett!

  5. I don't know much about John Corbett, but I loved United States of Tara, mostly because it's got the completely gorgeous Toni Collete in it (who's from my country - let's hear it for nationalism huh!). But I do like the character he plays on Tara, especially in the way he relates to his son. He isn't perfect, but he sure knows how to love and accept. And they're two very, VERY grand things indeed. Perhaps the grandest of them all.

  6. Ms. Moon,
I dig him, too. I've been in lust with him ever since he was Chris the DJ on Northern Exposure, which may have been my favorite TV show EVER.

    You have good taste.

  7. Don't even get mama started on Northern Exposure. My favorite was Elaine Miles, who played Marilyn. Check this out, this is what she's been up to since then:

Since Northern Exposure she has done tours with her dancing and stand-up comedy, has emceed at numerous Pow-wows, and had roles in independent films such as Smoke Signals, Skins and The Business of Fancydancing. With fellow comedian Drew LaCapa (Apache), she has made an exercise video ("RezRobics") addressing diabetes rates among Native Americans. The video mixes pow wow dancing, martial arts and aerobics moves with nutritional advice. In contrast to the usual FBI warning, the creators encourage people to copy the video freely and distribute it among friends and relatives in Indian Country.

  8. Dreams, chickens, flowered plates and now NORTHERN EXPOSURE?? Are you kidding me??

I netflixed the 1st season a few months ago. Just that opening screech of the eagle and the first few notes of the theme song makes me smile. Not to mention John Corbett's voice. Aye aye aye

    And he's really tall

Bruce and I actually drove through "Cicely" in a red convertible Mustang. Didn't see any moose, though

  9. Not being a TV watcher, and even when I do, not being capable of finding any particular show when I want it...do I qualify to comment here?

He does look like a hunk. Well, not a hunk, but the very handsome type I like to have call me.

  11. Ladies (and gent) I will arm wrestle ALL of you for him. I lost all belief in Sex And The City when Carrie Bradshaw left his character for that stupid shit, Mr. Big.

  12. P.S. I can't even THINK about the last episode of Northern Exposure with Marilyn going around closing all the doors and windows without crying. I loved all those people so very much.
