The Church On A Monday Morning In November

The light was so gorgeous this morning, shining through the trees which were steaming like smoke that I was almost late to yoga because I had to go out and take these pictures.

There's a lot more I could say but none of it as important as light. None of it could compare to the way the light made my yard look this morning.

Happy Monday.

  1. Ah, lovely. The first one just really captures it, you can see the RAYS. The trees in the others are magical. Thanks for stopping before you rushed off to yoga to share some beauty on this Monday morning.

  4. The Spanish moss was particularly beautiful. It looks almost like icicles.

  7. You have the most beautiful property ever.....do you have a magnolia tree? If not plant one and post photos of it growing, growing moss, and looking majestic and beautiful.

  9. I was noticing that same beautiful light this morning when I was driving down Old Bainbridge Road on my way to work! I wish I could have stopped and taken some pictures.

  10. I take for granted such a scene and it catches me off guard sometimes.
Your grapes are doing well too, huh?

  11. Stephanie- Amen.

Ms. Fleur- Did you see it? That light?

    Marsha- It was.

Kori- Ah, Spanish moss is cool. They used to stuff mattresses out of it. But you have to use the kind you pull out of a tree and not find on the ground. Otherwise you'll get redbugs something fierce.

    Mwa- You're home!

Rebecca- I've written a lot about magnolias and posted a few pictures, too. We have a giant. But the moss doesn't hang on it.

Jo- That's how I feel too.

    Screamish- Yep. God light. Exactly.

    Lois- Well, you have mine.

Magnum- Where you been? I've missed you, boy. What grapes?
