Pretty picture. Is there some significance to a blue egg? Or is that pretty normal? And I wrote back about your comment on my blog, and as much as I would love to ship him down to you it would be tough because I have grown really, really attached to him. Maybe I can send him to you when he is 18 and wants to go to Florida for Spring Break.
Stephanie- I love my chickens' eggs and I think they are beautiful.
Mwa- I know! And we first got chickens last Easter. So there you go!
Mr. Shife- Different breeds of chickens lay different colored eggs. Isn't that wonderful? And okay, you may send him to me when he is eighteen but he better still be really cute. So don't do anything to mess with his cuteness! Okay?
HoneyLuna- Pearl is my shadow. She follows me everywhere, searching me for signs of abandonment. It grows wearying. Come home and let her follow you. I will show you my blue egg tomorrow. Isn't it lovely? I wonder if Daffodil laid it. That would be perfect. A white chicken laying a blue egg.
Those eggs look so pretty together! I think the blue egg is a sign and it's saying that it is going to be blue so you don't have to. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with you family!
Your blue egg makes me happy too. Daffodil is a lovely name for a chicken. I have a bunny named Tulip. I LOVE the pic with Pearl. Love old dogs. I know what you mean though about the following.
That is a beautiful picture; beautiful.
ReplyDeletePurdy.
ReplyDeleteYou'd be all set if it was Easter. No need to paint any of them eggs.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous.
