Worrisome Times

I am too tired and dispirited to say much tonight.
And it is warmer and I sort of want to put the AC back on and I sort of don't and who cares? What's the big deal?
I don't know. Sometimes it is just like this.

I chopped up a head of cabbage and some green onions and carrots and threw them in the wok.

I've rolled them up into egg roll wrappers, little swaddled vegetable babies.

They are baking in the oven right now.

Supper. Clean up. Bed.

Tomorrow will be different. Unless it isn't.

  3. Those look so fun. Just wanted to say good morning, for when you wake up. I dare you to make a quinoa breakfast recipe. I have been eating steal cut oats, red quinoa, teff mix banana bread flavored/textured oatmeal all week and it is so delicious.

  4. The little rolls sound delicious. Dispirited here too. When it rains in the States it drips in Europe, and I wonder if I have pans left to put under the leaks.
Crazy, crazy. Maybe your rolls could be the answer we all need... Stand still, breath, make a couple of rolls and enjoy their flavor. Stay in that moment.

  7. Those egg rolls look delish. We make them here too. But we do them in the wok. I know that baked would be much better.
