AFTER

Yeah. I feel better now.
It ain't perfect but it's a hell of a lot better. I have about eight bags to take to the trash place. Two entirely of plastic. Amazing how much plastic shit you can collect, even if you are trying not to.

I will probably be able to cook again.

  1. Corinne- Me too.

Maggie May- Okay. The heart of the house is not in chaos. But that black mold on the walls? Shit. Still there.

  3. Dang Mama, that's awesome. It looks like you worked your butt off doing that. I just hope you were listening to a good book-on-tape or grooving to music while doing so.

HoneyLuna- Hell. I listened to a terrible book on tape. I must go to the library tomorrow. How was our boy today?

  5. I can't even imagine how fabulous the food is going to be coming out of that swanky-looking place, given how unbelievably your food looked despite the "before" photos!

    Good work, missy!

  10. I'm impressed!! You got your supplies, took the before pictures and blogged them, cleaned the kitchen, took the after pictures and blogged them and answered comments on the before and the after blogs all since I checked in this morning.

I feel like a slacker for just running errands, supervising my painters and having a tea party in my back garden with only five lady guests. Good thing one of those guest helped me do the dishes or I would have given your before pix a run for the money.

Love that there is a bottle of lager on the counter in one of the after pix. You deserved it! Nachty nacht.

  16. How long do you reckon it will stay organized?

P.S. I've been wanting to use the word "reckon" all day, since I've been reading Tom Sawyer to the kids this week.
