  1. I am in a crap mood and this made me smile. Thank you.

    my word verification is :unpetted
I think that's part of my bad mood. Someone needs to pet me.
    Not heavily.
Just you know, kindly and softly.

  2. Bethany- "unpetted" indeed. Reminds me of Jo's post this morning. Perhaps we all need to go to a cuddle party.

  5. Another disappeared comment. I think I forget to click something.

Funny comment, Bethany, though I can't say I'd turn down the heavy petting, myself.

I would say definitely pink, and then purple for the second.

  8. Ooooh what pretty pictures. Naming colors is so hard for me. Recently, I did a little craft project involving pounding flowers onto paper, and I was amazed that the purplest flowers pounded blue and the pinkest pounded purple. I also tried to capture a photo of the deepest, velvetiest dark purple petunia I had ever seen and it kept photographing and videotaping mostly bluish, which I found just fascinating. The camera never catches the colors right for me, so I can only imagine how pretty those flowers in your yard must be. And the fork chicken deterrent is hilarious. You are a smart woman.

  10. Syd- Good!

Nicol- Oh, there's a lot to the yard which is NOT beautiful. Believe me.

    Jo- Could be, dear.

Caroline- "Pinkurple?" Yes. I think you are right.

    Bethany- You noticed!

Mel- As with everything, my sense of color becomes less sure with age. The fork was one we found in the yard and was just laying by the plant so...
    And it works!

Maggie May- It was a beautiful sunset.

  11. I don't know shit about those colors. I had the big box of Crayola's too. Clearly, I am a sorry excuse for a human being. Laugh.
