Just...Love

I went into town to Lily's and picked her up and we went and had our nails done. Seriously- I have deep blood-red finger and toe-nails now. I figure if you're going to get your nails painted, GET 'EM PAINTED!

But before we left her house, I spent a little time cuddling with Gibson on the bed. He was watching Robin Hood, his favorite movie. The Disney version. Do not ask me why he loves that movie but he does. When the part came on where Robin and Maid Marian are drifting through the forest arm-in-arm, he got so happy.
"Do they love each other?" I asked him.
"Yes," he said.
And he pulled me closer and tucked my arm securely underneath him the way he likes to do.

Just as no one tells you how much you will fall in love with your babies, no one tells you how much you will fall in love with your grand babies.

I'm here to tell you.

Love...Ms. Moon

  1. What sweetness in that photo.
That movie was my older daughter's favorite. She found it hilarious--and I swear, I can still hear her little girl laugh all these years later.

  2. The only words of wisdom I ever give expectant parents is that they have no idea how much they are going to love their children.

  6. Is that the version where Robin Hood and all the other characters are animals? I loved that version too when I was a kid. It's great that you're providing Gibson with good experiences and memories. :)

I've got a lot of catching up to do on your blog! I won't be able to comment on everything but I'll do my best to read it all. :)

  8. Denise- I have no idea why Gibson loves it so much. He's too young to really understand it. But it makes him happy.

Birdie- Me too! I tell them that there's an entire part of their hearts about to be busted wide open.

    A- I know!

Sweet Jo- We love each other. That is the truth.

Heartinhand- You are right about the grandkids. What I'm wearing is actually a skirt and a shirt with a tunic thing over. Very comfortable.

Steve Reed- Yes. That is the movie. Exactly. Welcome home, World Traveler!

    Elizabeth- I love you too.

Ellen Abbott- No debate. They are the best.
