The Grand Girl Is Here

Today's blog post will be this picture because Magnolia June is here.

In this picture, she is in the bathroom with Buddha whom she is about to wash because she likes him to be nice and clean. Most of the stuff from the shelves in the old laundry room are in bins behind her and in the shower because- well- where else? So, although the background and setting of this picture are not exactly ideal or picturesque, Maggie makes it all lovely somehow.

Happy Friday, y'all.

Love...Ms. Moon

  1. I just love your first sentence.....that says it all, as she does have a big aura, that one! Wondering how sleeping will go....I hope Mr Moon doesn't have to resort to his chair.......after all, she cannot take over your entire world, can she? Oh.....yes she can LOL! And must add that your plates as per yesterdays post from the TBGTGSBJ thrift store....are gorgeous. REALLY? 50 cents EACH?

    1. Maggie can definitely take over an entire world. And one day- she just might!
Yes m'am. Fifty cents a plate. They were half off.

  2. It's funny. I wandered over here thinking "So, I wonder where poor Mr. Moon slept last night?" I also wanted to comment that William did not like to sleep on the floor by the bed. He was always afraid of what was under the bed. We got a foldaway bed for him, and things went much more smoothly. Maggie looks as happy to be there as you are to have her there.

  3. No time for blogging Mrs Moon! You have got Princess Magnolia to attend to as you are her now her lady-in-waiting. Has she got a little bell she can ring to summon you? Remember to curtsy.

    1. Uh, excuse me- that's QUEEN Magnolia to those of us who serve her. She doesn't need a bell because one of us is always right there to do her bidding.

  4. I'm impressed that you blogged at all, what with your imperial house guest and all. Wondering how much sleep anyone other than Ms MJ got..

  6. My eyes are compromised as you are aware...I thought Buddha was a rubber gorilla, how dear, I thought. Glad the woman child is with you at long last! I know the separation has been difficult. Hope you can keep up with her! Xx

    1. Rubber gorillas are nice too. We just don't have one. Only old Zippy and he is not allowed to bathe due to his skin condition.

  8. That pix is so sweet and precious, I didn't even notice the background until you mentioned it, she and Buddha were Center Stage and drew the Eye.
