For Ms. Lopo

I don't think it'll ever be livable again.
Plus, I hear the man who owns it is trying to buy up that part of Lloyd to build a Hardee's on and he never sells anything.
It's tiny and there's no plumbing, no electricity and never has been.
It would be better to find a little piece of land and build something else.
I'll keep my eye out for you, though, for something else.

  1. But something built new wouldn't be an old shack. :( I can see that it's barely shelter at this point, but if I were 10 years old, it would be my "hide out" for sure. Could we buy a shitload of cans of spray-on glue and spray the shack to hold it together?

  2. Okay. That's funny.
I think we should figure out what they used to glue that wallpaper down with and use that to hold the place together.
And then we'd have to do something about those floors....

  3. Floors?? I was counting on dirt so that I wouldn't need to sweep them! ;)

  4. Well, some of the room's floors have rotted all the way down. Makes for tricky walking.

  5. When you think it was build? I feel like I'm in a Zora Neale Hurston Book.

  6. QG- I have no idea how old that shack is, but older than those trees growing up its side.
