Oh dear Christ on a crutch. Oh dear heaven in a hammock. Oh dear god in a girdle. Oh dear Lord in a Lincoln. Oh dear Jesus in a Jeep.
Or something like that.
Hey! Happy Sunday. Pancakes today: blueberry, banana, pecan.
Plans afoot to get the big boat out on the water. This entails many transportational issues due to the fact that we have a thousand children and forty-thousand grandchildren.
"Why did we have so many children?" I ask my husband as I lay out the strips of bacon in the pan.
"Heh-heh," he says as he goes outside to start getting the boat ready.
I had thought that today was going to be about gardening and maybe a little fooling around later on. Oh well.
Mr. Moon is going to take the cast net in case we run into some mullet.
It's going to be a fun day.
Love...Ms. Moon
Sounds like a perfect day. Good luck with the mullet, we haven't been able to catch many this year. Gail
ReplyDeleteSounds divine.
ReplyDeleteI think I write those two words at least five times a week as a comment on your blog.
sounds like a fun day. I spent all day yesterday and all day today outside in the dirt. and boy, am I tired.
ReplyDeleteOh dear Mary on a motorboat! Ha.
ReplyDeleteBoatin' or hoin' - you can't really go too far wrong with your day there.
It could've been 'dear god in a gondola', or 'dear god in a glass-encased popemobile', or even 'dear god in a golf cart' but, you're right, i rather much like him in the girdle instead.
Gail- We saw a few but not enough to get out the net.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth- YOU are divine.
Ellen Abbott- I need some dirt days. Badly.
Ajax- Haha! I sort of like God in a golf cart.
