Just More Pictures

I am as fascinated watching the chickens watch Owen as Owen is fascinated with watching the chickens. Or something like that.

"That dog's head is this big! Too many dogs!"

  1. Ack! Is that a poodle? She looks almost JUST like my Casey. Freaked me out. Sweet sweet sweet.

  2. Owen is one cutie patootie. He looks pretty darn adorable in his snow suit.

  3. Bethany- I told you Buster looked like Casey. Want him? I'll send him up UPS.

Mr. Shife- And you should know from Cutie Patooties.

  4. There are so many benefits to being Chicken Grandma, those pictures being two of them.

  5. I love pics of the chickens and pics of Owen, so what a wonderful way to combine the two.
He does look rather serious while watching those chickens though. It won't be long until he's out there helping you with them.

  6. Yes, send Buster.
But isn't he the one Mr Moon is always holding?
    (Send Mr Moon too)

  7. He's a cutie all right. Wish I had some chickens for my grand-niece to watch.

They're only too many dogs when they shit and piss in the house.

  9. [knock at the door] "oh hello", says Ms. Moon, "can I help you?"

"We have a report that animals are running a daycare here", says the Dept. of Chillin's and Famly representative dressed in pleated khaki, "...and we need to know who's in charge."
Ms. Moon forces a laugh and slowly shuffles to her left, in a well-rehearsed sweeping move, the big-headed dog is in her arms and swinging in a howling arc toward the representative like a velvet mace.
The result comes swift, too swift, and the pleated khakis are now slathered in dog slobber and yelp. The DCF rep is reeling backwards with fear.
She'll be back, but she's bringin' backup, and a rain poncho.

  10. Nancy C- True.

Mel- I told his mama that I can't wait until he's old enough to help me with the chickens. They need some serious poop removal from their house right now.

Bethany- Well. Okay. But I want Mr. Moon back. You can keep Buster.

Kathleen Scott- And yes, that's why I have too many dogs. They do.

Danielle- They live for the moment they can chew on each other. I know their secret thoughts.

Magnum- I'll sic Elvis on them. That'll do it.
That was pretty funny, by the way.

Ms. Bastard- She's hanging in there, that old girl.

  11. I showed my sweetie Owen's picture and she said "Good, I'd rather see him out there looking at chickens than laying in the house staring at some mobile of Sponge Bob Square Pants! You can learn a lot from a chicken."

  12. Mel's Way- Your sweetie is smart. You CAN learn a lot from a chicken.
