All Right

He's posted on Facebook so I guess it's okay to post this here.

No happy hour tonight, kids.

It's not covid, by the way, my heart decided to beat all weird. They say I'll most likely be fine, but they're keeping me overnight.

Hospitals are boring.

He's going to be okay. My boy.
I love him so.
They're letting Rachel stay with him.
I love her too. More than I can say.
I'm so glad that he's where he can be taken care of and watched over carefully.
His heart is my heart. And that's the truth.

  3. Oh my goodness, Mary, this must have been a very emotional day for you. I know what a distressing situation it is when a loved one is not well, especially our child, we hurt too. I'm thankful to hear it is not covid and I hope the heart arrhythmia is soon resolved. Sending love and healthy, healing vibes to your dear Hank.

  12. afib? or maybe flutter. or maybe both. he will be fine. afib is the most common health ailment in the world and most importantly, in most cases, not life threatening. mine still kicks up now and then even on the med. lots of ways to approach it.

  13. Hank will be OK though he may have to take meds for Atrial Fib. Dennis has been taking it for about 30 years now having collapsed in aerobics and hauled off to hospital. Nip it in the bud before damage can become a thing! Hank was lucky, I must say. Worrying for the parents and spouse and siblings , no doubt!
He will be OK! He HAS to be!

  15. So glad he's being observed and treated. I've heard of quite a bit of this recently, and cardiologists are finding it's not an ailment of the heart itself, but very likely the effect of continuous stress.

  17. Sorry to learn that your firstborn has had to stay in hospital. I hope that whatever took him there can be addressed and corrected or healed. Of course it's good that it is not COVID 19 but just being in hospitals these days can be extra frightening. Get well soon Hank!

  25. As one with a mitral valve prolapse who is subject to supraventricular tachycardia episodes, Hank has my sympathy and my wishes that whatever it is, it's easy to fix or treat and all will be well. Those out of whack heartbeats are scary.
