Mother died around six o'clock this evening.
I was with her and my brother, Chuck was able to say good-bye. Glen was there with us.
She went peacefully and quick.
I'll write more tomorrow.

And I'm fine. I promise you. I'm proud of her. She got it done. And she's not in pain of any sort any more.

  1. Whoa. Not what I was expecting to read.

    Thanks for sharing this.

I'm very happy for her. She was ready to die, and then she did. I think there must be little worse than lingering after one's time to go.

    Hugs.

May you find comfort in the simple tasks that life brings you and know that you are not alone.

I'm so sorry for your loss but happy for your mother, who is now at peace.

  12. Well, as with all your writing, you are so close to the truth... she had a good death, and now she is at peace, and I hope that peace will come to you too now. She was so lucky to have the people that meant most to her around her at that time, and then she went.. I do hope that you will find good things to remember, and have peace within yourself now.. 21. I'm so sorry for your loss. I was thinking yesterday that she'd probably die sometime in January, a lot of people in her condition hold on through Christmas and New Years and then let go in January.
    Again, I'm so sorry.
