I Could Not Love This Man More

He is so grace-full.

  1. I just want to repost everything you post today! As tragic as recent events have been, today I feel the world shifting, and love holding sway. I love this man, too, his amazing grace, his courage and perseverance. I think he's sad, right now, but I hope he can feel what has been accomplished on his watch. I hope he can feel our admiration and love.

  2. Hearing him sing made my eyes well up and my heart felt full enough to burst. I'm so proud of him, and so proud of Charleston and my fellow South Carolinians of all races who have come together for hope and healing. And now marriage equality too?! My heart is overflowing.

  4. I like him a lot. But I'm afraid there are many areas where he could make me love him more. I'm sorry to say it, perhaps I had higher hopes than was realistic. I thought he would close Guantanamo, though, I really believed it. And I thought he would support the conservation of his country a lot more than he has. And other things, especially foreign policy and now this ominous trade agreement.

But I do also believe that he could have done a lot more had he not been so opposed by congress. Obviously.

  5. I feel the same way. To be there at such an historic moment was incredible. The lines went on for blocks. But it was the most powerful four hours that I have spent.
