Ah Lah

What to make for supper?

And because it just charms the very living daylights out of me, I am linking a blog which I love. If you go here you'll see a small lad who loves overalls. And his incredibly beautiful sister. When I read the post I'm linking, I was wearing my own Goodwill overalls which I got so dirty wearing while weeding the garden today that they are now on their second wash.
How could I not be delighted?
Lora- I'm not even asking your permission. I can't help sharing.
Thank-you, though. Thank you for being the mother you are and for giving us a window into a quiet life where Bee and Goose live and you and your sweet man live too.

And now- off to make supper. I believe that cucumbers and onions may definitely be involved.

  1. I am *honored* that you linked to me! It was because of you that I knew Goodwill was the place to go, when he asked for these overalls.
Actually, I better go put them in the wash now so he can wear them again tomorrow!
(Looks like you're in for a delicious supper!)

  2. Lora- Yep. Gotta go slice the cucumbers. You have no idea how happy it makes me to think of Bee in his overalls, happy with the way they make him look. And I have to tell you- it is a miracle you found what you were looking for at Goodwill. Usually, if you go looking for one specific thing, that is the last thing you will find.
    Good Goodwill Karma, honey.

  4. And is that Elvis strutting proudly on the masthead? Lordy, he's one handsome rooster.

Can't believe you already have so much beautiful produce from your garden! Eat like that and you'll live forever. Feel good too.

  6. My daughter demanded her overalls this morning. She's looking very cute too. My overalls are getting too small for me (the special pregnancy ones), but I did finally find out why you love them so much - no need for a bra and no one can tell!

its so funny..in germany a overal is something like a suit..covers the whole body as well as legs and arms..what you call a overall is in germany a latzhose..which means..err..no idea how to translate it..:-)

  9. SJ- I love frozen pizza.

Kathleen Scott- Yep. That's the man bird. Elvis himself.

    Screamish- Aren't they pretty?

Mwa- Exactly! Plus, I can get down in the dirt in them. And the pockets are deep enough to carry a half dozen eggs and assorted vegetables in.

    Danielle- That makes sense.

Syd- I have to figure out what to do with all those peas. Mr. Moon does not like peas. Hmmmm...

  10. oh my gosh, that looks like it should be painted. It looks like a painting. An old fashioned still life. WOW. What abundance, and just the way you placed it all. Lovely. You just got me excited for my garden which I finally got in, but is only tiny tiny now, trying to adjust to transplant shock. I hope it grows like yours!!!!

  11. I want a veggie garden again.
    I'm coveting that abundance.

I went through an overall phase years ago. They are very comfortable and forgiving.

on kids, they are adorable , especially babies. Does Owen have a pair? I can't remember.
