This Day

I'm okay. I am. I went to town. I functioned. Sort of.
I went to the library and got books that a third grader would probably be comfortable with although I did find the second in that detective series by J.K. Rowling. To read with my eyes, not my ears but that's okay. I think I still know how to do that.
I went to the grocery store where I walked around like that little kid in the Family Circus.

One of the very sweet Publix employees saw me looking down the aisles after he had probably noticed me crossing and recrossing my path and asked if he could help me find anything.
"Just my mind," I said. "If you see a spare brain just laying around, it's mine."
When I checked out, the lady asked me if I had found everything I needed.
"Who knows?" I asked her. Serious as a heart attack.

Brain fog doesn't even begin to describe it.

I went and stayed with the boys for awhile. Here's Gibson.

That's how he plays Frisbee. Isn't he beautiful?

Supper. Then bed. Thank god.

Love...Ms. Moon

  1. Tomorrow's another day. For us both. I think I was in my head too much today. Always a dangerous thing.

  3. Good to hear you are moving along. I had a brief (thankfully) run of anxiety several years ago. I do remember being suddenly blindsided with terror at completely random moments. Or just opening my eyes in the morning and being struck with fear. May you be peaceful and at ease.

  8. Idle check-out chitchat. Sometimes I've said incredibly fucked up things. Well, who cares. Let them figure it out. They asked. Glad you're okay.
