So I Guess This Is My Sunday Link

If you suffer from anxiety and/or depression, or if you love someone who does, read this today. An extract from the forthcoming book Reasons To Stay Alive by Matt Haig.

Thank you.

Mr. Moon took that picture of the goldfinch. It is a day for birds and trying to remember hope.

  2. Thank you for that link. I really like the comparison he makes at the end of the Q&A page - think of yourself as the sky. Depression is a cloud. It can cover the sky, it can dominate the sky. But it is not the sky. The sky remains separate and clear and blue. That is a powerful thought.

  3. I really liked the link. I was struck by the simplicity of it, the relief of it.

  7. Yes, this too shall pass. Or so I am told. We must only put one foot in front of the other, and though it does not always feel like progress, the only way out of it is through it. In the meantime we can make some collards, laugh whenever we can, love those we are blessed to hold close, and just breathe.
You keep talking, we'll be listening.

  8. Yes, I know that I would still want to be alive no matter what my mind might tell me when it is being tricky.
