God Only Knows, Part II

Good morning from Lloyd.
This morning's miracles:

Lazy Miss Trixie, still alive, loath to get up and out to start her day:

I feel much the same. Mr. Moon is at a hunting class and here I am in my tiny world, glad to be.

I watched a video last week and I can't get it out of my mind, my ears. So I am giving it to you now.
It is gorgeous in all ways.

Love...Ms. Moon

  1. Ah, lovely. Did you see the BBC Perfect Day one? Loved that too. I kind of hate the Beach Boys, but there are songs of their's that I love :)

  2. That video is beautiful. It reminds me of one of my favorite movies, Love Actually. It also reminds me of that Christmas when so many stars got together and made "We are the World" with Michael Jackson. That was the first Christmas after meeting my husband (who wasn't my husband yet), so it stands out, as everything did that year. Thank you for sharing the miracles in Lloyd. Of which you are one.

  3. Jo- The Beach Boys are part of my bones. I love them. I haven't seen that other one, no. I will check it out.

Angella- You and I have known our fellows for about the same time. I loved that video. Watched it over and over and over.
There are many miracles in Lloyd...just as there are everywhere. I know of at least one in NYC.

  4. Loved the video. Very stirring! I watched the video about making the video, too - a good companion watch.

  5. When I was an 18-year-old newly married wet-behind-the-ears kid, I took a job with a woman who cleaned houses. We cleaned The Beach Boys' house in Laguna Niguel, California one time. The house was up on the bluffs, and I remember a big piano in front of a huge window overlooking the ocean....and beer cans, whisky bottles, ashtrays full of who knows what, and clothes that looked like they were thrown around with abandon. I was so excited to be there that I took a roach clip and stuffed in my pocket. I have to say it was the thrill of a lifetime. Ex-husband took the roach clip. Should have asked for it in the divorce. LOL

  11. That was a great video! And here I am in the middle of BBC-land and I hadn't seen it. As Angella said above, it does remind me of "We Are the World." I love figuring out who's who and seeing all those familiar faces.

  12. Oh, and it helps that that may be my favorite Beach Boys song of all time.
