  1. I think this is one of the most beautiful photos I've ever seen. Lily is so very gorgeous and so is Owen.

  5. Funny how it's only been a few days, but I'm betting a million dollars that no one can imagine life before him.

  6. See, THAT feeling is why I would love another baby.

  7. I'm genuinely surprised that we don't hear more stories on the news of people eating babies.

    Too sweet.

  8. Michelle- Exactly and always.

May- I can barely stand to look at that picture. It's that beautiful.

    Lola- I know, it's true.

Mwa- Yep. That's why we all have (had) more.

    Ms. Lilac- Isn't it?

Daddy X- You and Billy would get along quite well. When he sees something this precious he says something like, "Makes me want to go run over a kitten." And I am rather surprised that all my children have all their fingers, toes, ears, cheeks, lips.

  11. Ms. Fleur- I just can't stop. Sorry.

Lily- I am so glad Jason took that. It is now my very most favorite picture of you in the entire history of your life.
Thank-you for sharing again today. I love you.

    Joy- Honey on honey.

  13. They look so peaceful. Beware, some overzealous public health nurse might see this pic and send child protective services over because he's sleeping on his belly!
But seriously, I miss falling asleep with my baby on my chest. I'm definitely having 'baby envy!'

  14. Maggie- Isn't it?

Rachel- I know. Soon they'll be telling us to have our babies sleep suspended from the ceiling, right-side-up. Jesus.

  15. Isn't that just the best feeling in the world? A tiny one asleep on your chest, not much better.

Lily, you and your son are beautiful.

  16. Ginger- Nothing is better. Unless it's your grandson asleep on your chest.

    Ms. Bastard- Amen.

  17. How did I miss this picture?? If there is one thing my husband and I miss most about our babies, it would be napping on the couch with a baby asleep on our chest - we took turns, it was a little piece of heaven.
