Okay, okay. You see those little vote thingees over there on the sidebar? Well, they're there because I have been nominated for two different blog award things.
I don't know anything about this except that they look legitimate. Aunt Becky at MommyWantsVodka and Lady Lemon at Lady Lemon's Blog nominated me for these things.
So anyway, I put the Blogitzer thing up months and months ago and then I took it down because I figured it was over but now I realize it's not so I put it back up and dang! I have ten votes. You think maybe I'll beat Dooce? Boy, that would be sweet.
(Hysterical laughter.)
I hear it's rather hard to vote on that site but the Blogluxe thing is easy. You can even vote once a day on that one. Or so I hear from Aunt Becky.
So that's that. That's what that is. And part of me is so ashamed to be flogging the blog and another part of me is like, what the fuck?
At least I'd like to get as many votes as Getting Down With Jesus which is in the same category as I'm nominated for in the Blogluxe thing.
Really. I would.
