And just what IS it about little baby chicks that is so compelling? And they aren't like kittens; they are still compelling and beautiful when they grow up. Best of all? Friiiiied chicken. Just sayin.' : )
Did I miss a post about how the chickens you already had mated and laid eggs and the eggs hatched? P.S. - Bought some SAMe today. I'll start taking it tomorrow. Couldn't find the other stuff you suggested.
SJ- Let me know how it comes out. And don't squeeze the chickens! But you can kiss them.
Ms. Hope- Keep trying to find the phytoestrogen complex. I think those WITH the SAMe might be great. And no, these are new chicks from the same breeder where we got our others. Kathleen and Herb went and got them.
those ckck pics bring me right back to second grade when we hatched them in school. i can smell their sweet little heads now. don't blame honey luna a'tall for inhaling.
thanks for the sweetness after a heavy blog week. i needed it.
Teamo- Thank-you so much for saying that. I just don't quite know what to say.
SJ- Your enchiladas look divine! And listen- I have chickens to SPARE.
Adrienne- When I was a girl, we had a parakeet and her head smelled so good. Like these chickens. Like baby heads. Like fresh life. And the sweetness? I'm just passing it on.
awfully cute...I'm feeling the tug of more chickens for my backyard
and for Kori: my word verification is crisc as in crisco, the best stuff to fry chicken in... not that I've fried my chickens, to us they're pets that lay breakfast
Could Honey look ANY more like you?
ReplyDeleteAnd can I come live with the cute chickens?
Oh, dear lord. That's too much cuteness.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that you have more chickies already!! SO jealous!
Eleven beautiful chicks!
ReplyDeleteI just reached my cuteness quota for the day. Nothing can outdo those chickies.

Kori- Mr. Moon would agree with you.
Windy Days- Blessed and overblessed.
Steph- She's just kissing it.
She's huffing the chick! Send her back to the DARE program.

ReplyDeleteWhat sort of drink goes with savory chicks--I mean--savoring chicks?
ReplyDeleteA toast to the chicks! Hell, I'll toast to anything. Have a great weekend!
DTG- Remember how I used to rant and rave against DARE?
ReplyDeleteall their information is so bogus.
May- Good one, girl. I think she did inhale, though. She was sniffing it's little tiny head.
O. Boy- No. I just counted again. Still ten.
Ms. Trouble- I know! You gotta get you some chicks!
Ms. Bastard- I'll toast to you and the cable guy.
I want to squeeze those chicks!! (in a good way)

ReplyDeleteMs. Fleur- Yes. In a few days, they will be perfect Harley-sized and a little sturdier.
ReplyDeleteMichelle- Crisco. Ha! But you're right. That's what you need to fry a chicken. How many chicks do you have?
And aren't they the perfect pets?
Adrienne- This is why they invented cereal.
