I'm sorry, Mr. P. but I must correct you- pizza crust is not pastry. Pastry contains a fat. And in the case of MY pizzas, there is certainly NOT "some stuff smeared across the top." I place my ingredients very carefully.
That looks SO freakin' good! I salivated over your photo of your tomatoes roasting yesterday, and was hoping I'd see a 'fully dressed' pic. I have a family of 'pepperoni with extra cheese,' which is SO BLAH! This is definitely food porn for me. So you won't mind if I ask in kind of a creepy voice if you can smell the garlic in your pizza pie.
Pizza is just a disc of pastry with some stuff smeared across the top.
