The tyranny of exercise -- that's it. I'm putting on my clothes and shoes and going out for a walk with Miss Sophie. Thanks for the gorgeous inspiration.
What a great image – are those shoes ready to go or have they just returned? Hmm... Either way, there's nothing like a good walk to clear the head and fill the soul.
So glad - my computer is weird and I'#m having trouble with commenting, but we'll see what happens here -
Glad you had a good walk. I was able to leave Dade in his new playschool to test it out (after really not quite liking the montessori we got him into first) and I walked by the sea, up the cliff in the sun - and on the way back to Rainbow's End playschool, a huge fat rainbow lay almost horizontally across the headland and fell into the sea - it looked like it should fizzle or bubble or sizzle.
And he loves his playgroup by the beach, thank god. So it was a good day.

Perfect therapy: walking meditation.
ReplyDeleteWalking soothes me better than wine, chocolate or conversation (okay, maybe not as much as chocolate).
ReplyDeleteLove this. Walking is a life-saver for me, too.
ReplyDeleteI like exercise. But in the heat and humidity, it is a challenge. I would rather go to the gym that has AC when it is 90 F and 90% humidity.
ReplyDeleteExcellent I like this, your words are so true.
ReplyDeletegreat haiku ! For me walking and shoes can be replaced by creating art and a paint brush too !
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday !
Ah yes, walking good for the heart and the soul. Nice post and photo.
