Proof Of Life

I am quite alive and well. I've just been busy doing things like taking little hikes to see waterfalls. And making pancakes.

But today we're packing up and heading home. We'll break it up into two days as we did on our way here so we'll be home tomorrow night.

It's been a wonderful trip. Even getting sick wasn't that bad. I just slept a lot.

See you again soon from Lloyd where I see the temperatures are reaching the high nineties.

Love...Ms. Moon

  2. That waterfall photo is fabulous! Glad to hear you were able to have some fun and are recovering enough for the trip home. That home you rented really was helpful and a comforting place to be!

  5. A quick trip is better than no trip at all especially in such a gorgeous place! Though I must say a quick trip is like a dream - a fever dream, stashed in the memory bank but 4difficult to access - to me anyway. I must make my trips long and hard...which sounds suggestive but not meant to be...

  7. Shucks! I thought you would be staying longer...as other visitors have indicated above.

  8. Maybe next year you can rent the same house. It sounds like it was a winner all around. Safe travels home. At least you got to rest with lovely sounds in the air. Grandchildren's laughter, the chime of your daughter's voice, rivers, hot tubs and waterfalls. I'm glad you're all better.

  12. I've missed so much here and had to catch up! I'm sorry that you're sick -- our trip looked fun and wild and weird, for sure. I don't remember any CAT MUSEUM in NC, but I would have dropped dead of shock and trauma in such a place. Good lord.
